What is Wyre Forest Nightstop?
Wyre Forest Nightstop was established in April 2004, due to the concern surrounding the increasing number of young homeless people in the Wyre Forest.
The aim of Wyre Forest Nightstop
The aim of Wyre Forest Nightstop is simple; to provide safe emergency accommodation for young people aged 16-25, on a one night at a time basis in the homes of trained, approved volunteer hosts.
The hosts will provide a bed for the night, an evening meal, washing facilities, breakfast, and most importantly, a caring environment and a listening ear.
After a young person’s stay with Nightstop, the Co-ordinator will help with any existing support needs such as budgeting, education, drug/alcohol dependencies, family conciliation, and of course housing. Together, you will work through an action plan that aims to meet these needs.
